First impressions/NYX Liquid suede cream Lipstick.

 NYX/ LIQUID SUEDE CREAM LIPSTICK.

This is the first NYX product I have ever tried. I new that once NYX was available I would be in there like a shot. To me if I heard the name NYX I would automatically think of there lip products. I've seen reviews after reviews of them and new I wanted to get some for my ever growing collection of lip products. I brought two but haven't really worn the other one yet. I've been loving this one. NYX is definitely going to be taking my money for a awhile because there's a lot I want.
I'm going to be honest these are the ones I haven't heard nothing about till I saw it in the shop so I was interested in going to have a look. They had about Six different shades if I remember correctly but there could of been more. This one really caught my eye just because I'm loving dark colours. I've never tried any form of a cream lipstick before so I was very interested to see how it would apply and how long the lasting power of it would be.
The shade is deep red. But when I looked at the tube I wasn't expecting it to be so dark and thought it would be more of a browner shade. So when I opened this up I was surprised. I'm not a massive red lipstick kind of person so I was a little sceptical about it. But I did try it out and actually fell in love with it. I put it on Twitter and everyone said how much it suited me. I'm actually glad I picked it up. Todays post I actually wanted to do my pictures a little different. I wanted to show it actually on my lips so you can get the feel of the colour and not just see a swatch.
So now onto how I got on with applying it and the lasting power of it and would I buy another one.
As I hadn't ever used a product like this before. I applied it like a lip gloss. Wrong idea because it's so pigmented and it went everywhere. All over my hands on my chin. So my first time of applying it didn't go to well. I've now learnt to line my lips with it firstly to create the lip shape and then fill in the rest of the lips. Also you don't need to keep putting the wand back into the tube because one pump is enough for the whole of the lip. . I did try eating and drinking because I wanted to see the lasting power of it. And to be honest I was quite impressed with how much it stayed on. Yes it did get on my food and cup but when I looked into the mirror afterwards I couldn't see a much of a difference. I love the feel on my lips. It does dry the lips out but just make sure you moisturizer them before and when you take it off. These cream lipsticks are amazing and I will be going back to buy more. I love the formula and the overall product. They come in at £6.50 which is an amazing price

  2. Great review! I've been seeing a lot more about the suede lip creams now more than the matte cream ones, and everyone says how impressive they are! I have to say, most of my lip products do transfer onto food and glasses regardless (guilty, sorry restaurants), but as long as they last for a long time it doesn't bother me as much! xx
