Goals of 2016

Goals are funny thing for me. I can't usually seem to stick to any. Through my elder teenage years to early adulthood I don't think I've ever achieved a goal because I don't stick to them or I change my mind every five minutes. I also think that I don't take goals to seriously just in case I fail them. But this year I've decided to make some goals. Because generally I think they do help in the long run if you set realistic goals.

Goals 1 (Mental health)

TO get dressed every day even if I'm not doing anything. (It makes me feel 10x better)
To have a normal sleeping pattern (Not 4 am)
To venture outside everyday (The outside world isn't as scary as it looks)
Stop making excuses (Everyone can see through them)
Say yes MORE often (One yes a week is enough for starters)
Book a doctors apt and get some much needed support (You will thank me for that)

Goals 2 (Personal)

Find a job (Not something you can't cope with )
Meet new friends (I'm nicer then I look)
Stop spending money I don't have. (You don't need lipsticks all the time)
Be a nicer person (Resting B**ch face won't do)
Be more positive (Negativity won't win me)
Go on 1 holiday (It will do me good.)

Goals 3 (Fitness)

Lose 3 stone (Isn't going to happen over night)
Exercise everyday (I will get ABBS)
Drink more water (Pretend you are drinking something else)
Keep a planner on progress (Not buy one and leave it empty)

Goals 4 (Blogging)

Reach 500 Bloglovin followers (You can do this )
Blog every other day (Hard work pays off)
Reach 500 Instagram followers (Wish these pesky spam accounts would stop getting my hopes up)
Focus on Photos (Bright clear focused)
Content is everything (Not two sentences)

So these are my goals for the year. I think they are very good goals and I also think they are very achievable. Well I hope so. Only time will tell. (WISH ME LUCK )

What's your goals for 2016.

  1. I loved this post, I can totally relate. I'm so proud of you Amy, you've come so far in such a short space of time. Remember to take as much time as you need reaching your goals, there's no rush, and don't be hard on yourself if you don't achieve things as quickly as you wanted - recovery is up and down in a jagged line, not straight up. There'll be bumps in the road but you've got friends to help you back up and you'll reach all your goals in the end, I know it. Take good care of you, you deserve it xxx

  2. Good luck for your goals Amy! :) I need to stop making excuses and say yes more too, it's something I always seem to promise to do though and not ending up doing it!

All of your goals seem really achievable and I'm sure you will reach them! <3

  5. These are fab goals! I am sure you can achieve them all! I am trying to lose weight myself this year, we can do it!! Xx

  6. I could probably write these goals down and claim them as my own. I'm almost in 100% agreement with each and every one of them. I too have been trying to get outside more as I hate sitting in an office all day then jumping straight in bed, I've been trying to say YES to more, even if sometimes I really really want to just get into bed and hibernate. It's working so far, I'm a much happier person. Good luck with everything lovely, I'm sure you'll achieve each and every one of them.
