Getting ready for Spring. Guest post by Hannah Rosalie

Hi lovies!!!

I'm Hannah Rosalie from Hannah Rosalie's Words!

I was delighted when Amy asked me to take part in her new blog series about 'getting ready for Spring'.

I had so many ideas, that I decided to go for a makeup and nail look.

Spring is one of my favourite seasons, as it's one step closer to Summer!

Beauty wise, when I think of spring, I think 'pops of colour', peaches, pinks and pastels! Which means, an excuse for lots of new makeup shopping!

For this look, I wanted to look more 'fresh faced' as apposed to a 'cakey-tanned' look.

Starting with my eyes, I opted for neutrals, browns, pinks and Burgundy's with a tint of shimmer, using Seventeens eye shadow trio in 'Plum Pudding'. I tend to wear neutral colours on my eyes for a classic day look, it also helps to make your face look warmer.
The mascara I am wearing is Benefit's 'they're real'. I have tried so many mascaras and am fully dedicated to this one! It curls, volumes and lengthens your lashes to the max!
I decided to go against wearing eyeliner as I wanted to open my eyes up more!
On my brows I used wax and brow pencil from Seventeen's 'Brow's that!' brow kit. They didn't turn out as perfect however I do need a brow tidy so I will blame it on that hehe.

For Spring makeup, I wear more bronze than what I wear in Winter, as we are getting more day light now and I don't want to look like a pale vamp!

I recently picked up 'Hoola' by Benefit, however this is slightly too much bronze for myself to wear in Spring and more of a Summer must! So i decided to stick with my MUA

Mosaic Bronzer 'Shade 1 Natural Glow'! I swear by this bronzer, cheap, long lasting and great quality!
I added Benefit's 'Coralista' as blush and then a dab of 'cha cha tint' after it to add a little dewy sheen!

For my lips, I applied Collections Colour pout lasting lip stain in 'flirt 3', then applied a clear gloss from 'lip voltage' for an extra gloss. I am loving this combo lately and find lip stains and tints last so much longer than lipsticks.

The invisible products.
Moisturiser- Clinique Moisture Surge Intense
Primer- Benefit's Porefessional
Concealer-Collections Lasting Perfection Concealer/ Benefit's Fake-up

Overall, I think I would wear this on a day to day basis. However if I was going out at night, I would add some eye liner and highlighter!

I think that pastels and pop's of colour for Spring nails are a must!
I prefer mixing colours up rather than having a whole hand the same one colour.

Purple- MUA in Moody Mink
Blue-MUA in Bold Blue
Pink- Barry M Gelly in Dragon
Orange-NailPop in Coral
Turquoise- Barry M in Mint Green
Topcoat- Barry M in Clear

And there you have it!
My make-up and nail look for Spring!
Would you wear these colours?
I'd love to see how your make-up adapts to Spring!
