Starting off: Skincare

Hey lovelies so this is the first post of the series of a project i'm involved in. Its called #theSOproject basically what its about is that a bunch of girls will be posting every Tuesday at 6  . It's going to last 10 weeks and the lovely Steph form stephsvoice came up with this whole idea. Its to help people who are just starting out using beauty products. And us girls are here to give you some tricks tips and tell you some of our favorite products we use. So don't forget to to check back at 6 Every Tuesday for a different Topic. This week were starting off with SKINCARE.

By no means i'm a professional on skincare actually to be truthful i do find looking for skincare products quite stressful because i suffer from acne and dry skin which is defiantly not a good combination. But i'm going to give you some tips i've mastered through the years of buying skincare. So first of its always best to find out your skin type. So you can do this online or at some beauty counters and im sure there are some beauty bloggers who have some posts on skin types up so have a look around. This will defiantly help while looking for skincare products. If your still not sure of buying skincare products take someone with you for some help. Generally products will tell you what kind of  skin types they are for. So that will help you. If your thinking that you have to buy really expensive products to get amazing results. Well you really don't. I'm 21 and have never brought a high end skincare product because i find drug store ones work for me. So there's some tips i've learnt from buying skincare products. It can be quite daunting especially if your a young teenager and your starting out.using them. Don't forget to get a routine for applying them like morning and night. And i now i'm going to be the biggest hypocrite ever now for saying this. But don't be scared to change up your products that you use because your skin can get used to them and will not work as good. I never change my products because i'm a baby haha. But i'm going to try and change this.

Like i said i struggle with getting products for my skin type. But i'm going to show you some of my favorites i've gotten used to using.

So so first of all i use the Simple spotless skin triple action face wash. I use this because it's kind to my skin and doesn't rough it up like so many other products do. I'm not going to say it clears my acne up because it doesn't. but i do have quite bad skin so that might be why. It might work if you don't have much going on. My second favorite face wash is the Clearasil skin perfecting wash. Yet again  it's so soft for my face and doesn't make it all red and horrible. I do change them up on a weekly basis. I defiantly recommend them if you have sensitive skin.
Lets go on to cleansers/toners/Blackhead control products. This is quite easy for me i always go for the one that doesn't make my skin flare up. so i use the Clearasil All in one deep cleansing toner. I use the all in one because i'm way to lazy to use two different ones. I like just knowing that i can slap that on and it it will be finished. This product has defiantly been one of my favorites for a while. The only thing i don't like about it is that it drys my skin out. but that's my only downside to it. Next i'm going to be sharing with you my blackhead control product. I use the Clearasil blackhead control. I love this product because it actually does get rid of them for a couple of days. I use them around every two days because they can dry your skin out .
Finding the perfect moisturizers has always been a mission for me i just could never find anything that would moisturizer my skin properly. So i decided to use two different ones. One for Day one for Night. The one i use for day is the Garnier moisture match for dry skin. I use this in the day because it's pretty rich and it does do the job of moisturize my skin for the whole day. My night one is the Simple one. I use this because it hydrates my face for the night and i don't wake up with even more acne then i have. If you have really bad dry skin like me i wouldn't suggest of using its as a daily one just because it doesn't moisture your skin for long. So that's why these are my favorite moisturizers
So that's then end of this weeks topic. hope you find what i have written quite useful. Don't forget to drop me a comment if you have any more questions about skincare. Don't forget there's loads of other girls doing this project with me. So if you want to see more skincare post's Follow stephs blog and she has the list of the girls taking part in a post. Looking forward to next weeks topic. want to no what it is. You will have to come back Next week at 6 on Tuesday to find out.
